Community - The Bridge Preston & Thornbury

Community Development underpins all the work we do at the Bridge which enables us to deliver courses, programs, events, partnerships and services to support local residents, organisations and businesses.

We have developed numerous programs to engage local residents that may face a barrier to engaging in our services.  Our programs include community lunches, computer, device, dance, recreational and cooking programs for people with additional needs.

The Bridge facilitates the Makers Market Thornbury which engages over 20 local micro business to sell their wears at a local event four times a year.  We support the Twilight Cinema at Mayer Park Thornbury providing Insurance, publicity and administration support which engaged over 2000 local residents last summer.
