Computers Intermediate Course

Thursdays & Fridays 9am – 12pm

Enrol Online

Gain skills in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and learn how to use cloud technology. Learn how to insert and edit photographs, use mail merge and spell-check in Word, create forms and charts, create and deliver a PowerPoint presentation, and use formulas and develop a budget in Excel.

Tuesdays & Thursdays 6-9pm x 20 sessions

Develop work-ready Microsoft Office skills with Word, Excel and cloud technology. Learn how to use styles and macros, create a table of contents and merge data.

Students must have completed our Computers – Intermediate course first.

Terms & conditions

Course fees

ACFE and fee-for-service fees are paid per course, in full, prior to course commencement. In situations of financial hardship, students can apply to Subsidised course fees are available for students who are ACFE-eligible. To be eligible for ACFE funding you must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or an Australian permanent resident. Concession price is available for pension and healthcare-card holders for government-funded programs (ACFE). A seniors card is also accepted for non-funded programs. If enrolling online, your concession/pension/seniors card must be presented at our office prior to commencement.


There are no refunds for missed classes. If you wish to withdraw from a course, you must notify us at least five working days before the course begins in order to obtain a refund. Notification of withdrawal must be made in writing and addressed to A refund will be made less a $50 administration charge.


Course commencement is subject to sufficient enrolments – minimum and maximum class sizes apply to all courses. In the event of a course cancellation all fees will be refunded in full by direct payment to your nominated bank account. Our fees policy can be provided on request.

Child care

On-site child care is available to support parents/grandparents studying at the Bridge – fees may apply. Free child care is provided for students attending ACFE-funded classes, subject to availability and eligibility. The Bridge is registered for the Child Care Subsidy; up to 85% of childcare fees (including 3-year-old kinder) may be claimed by eligible families. Visit to confirm your eligibility.

Public & school holidays

We are closed on public holidays. Some courses may operate during school holidays; your tutor will advise if this is the case.

Course materials

The Bridge will advise students prior to course commencement if there are course material fees to be paid. This is a separate payment, in addition to the course fee.
